
Volvo Car South Africa is strengthening its position in the local electric vehicle market with an ambitious rollout of four new models, demonstrating the Swedish manufacturer's unwavering dedication to sustainable mobility in the region.
With newly appointed Managing Director Grant Locke at the helm, VCSA is positioning itself as a leader in South Africa's electric transition, emphasising long-term growth and expanded customer choice.

Volvo EX30 Cross Country:
The third quarter launch features the Volvo EX30 Cross Country, derived from the popular EX30 electric SUV.Embodying the celebrated Cross Country heritage'originally established with the XC70'the EX30 CC merges traditional Volvo principles with an adventurous spirit. Offering a WLTP-estimated range of 427km, the EX30 CC provides the capability to explore beyond urban boundaries.
Volvo XC60 and XC90:
Spring brings refreshed XC60 and XC90 models featuring updated exterior styling with redesigned front and rear elements, new grilles, and refined wheels.Interior upgrades include Volvo's latest 11.2-inch touchscreen with 21% improved pixel density and enhanced infotainment responsiveness. Both models will offer mild-hybrid (MHEV) and plug-in hybrid (Recharge) options locally.
Volvo ES90:
Early 2026 welcomes the ES90, combining sedan elegance, fastback versatility, and SUV spaciousness. Built on advanced SPA2 architecture with 700km WLTP range, it features premium materials, Google-powered infotainment, and Bowers & Wilkins sound with Dolby Atmos.
