After nine years steering TransUnion Africa's legal and compliance strategy, Jeannine Naudé is stepping into a new challenge as Vice President and Head of Africa Regions, tasked with driving the company's expansion ambitions across the continent.
The appointment, effective January 2026, places Naudé at the forefront of TransUnion's regional portfolio spanning eight African markets, including South Africa, Kenya, Botswana, Rwanda, Namibia, Zambia, eSwatini and Malawi.
Naudé's track record at TransUnion Africa speaks for itself. As Chief General Counsel, she transformed the Legal, Risk and Compliance function into a strategic business partner, playing a crucial role in the company's expansion across the continent. Her achievements include implementing new regulatory frameworks in several countries, consolidating multiple legal entities and overseeing TransUnion's minority investment in Omnisient.
Beyond regulatory expertise, Naudé has championed financial inclusion, women inclusion and environmental, social and governance priorities. She has led the increased use of alternative data and spearheaded global engagements with the International Finance Corporation and the World Bank.
Her industry influence extends to serving as Co-Chair of the Africa Credit Information Sharing Association, whilst remaining actively involved in the Africa Regional Consultative Group and several industry bodies.
Over the past five months, Naudé successfully guided the Africa Regions portfolio in an interim capacity, working closely with regional leadership teams to sustain performance and growth. Her priorities include strengthening regulatory and industry partnerships, enhancing operational delivery, driving growth in both core and emerging markets, and building a future-ready organisation through talent development and regional collaboration.
Lee Naik, CEO and Regional President for TransUnion Africa, commented: "Jeannine has been instrumental in shaping TransUnion Africa's growth journey over the past nine years. Her deep understanding of our markets, strong commercial acumen and ability to balance strategy with execution make her well suited to lead our Africa Regions."
