These numbers keep Suzuki firmly planted in second place among South Africa's vehicle manufacturers, where they've remained all year.
Swift Takes Center Stage
Leading Suzuki's charge was the redesigned Swift, which delivered 2,101 sales to claim third position in the overall passenger car rankings. The compact hatchback recently turned heads at the Festival of Motoring, treating visitors to adrenaline-pumping rides around Kyalami's iconic racing circuit.
The Fronx crossover proved equally popular with buyers, notching 1,210 sales, while the family-focused Ertiga MPV contributed 1,055 units. Rounding out the strong showing were the Baleno at 500 units and the entry-level S-Presso with 433 sales.
Even the rugged Jimny found its audience, with 326 units sold to adventure seekers likely planning trips to September's Jimny Gathering in the scenic Outeniqua Mountains.
Momentum Building
Sales boss Henno Havenga attributed the milestone to both the expanding dealer network and loyal customers who keep choosing Suzuki for its proven reliability and value proposition.
