Since its launch in 2020, the Renault Triber has carved out a distinctive niche in the budget-friendly seven-seater segment, winning favour with families who appreciate its clever packaging and competitive pricing.
Now, the French manufacturer has given its popular people-carrier a thorough refresh, introducing over 25 new features whilst maintaining the practicality that made it a success in the first place. This update marks the Triber as the first model to debut under Renault's "renault. rethink." brand transformation initiative.
The refreshed Triber retains the fundamental character of its predecessor whilst benefiting from extensive exterior and interior upgrades across its three-variant lineup: Evolution, Techno and Iconic. Buyers can now choose from three new paint finishes: Zanskar Blue, Grey and Terracotta Brown in addition to the existing colour palette.

On the styling front, the Triber now sports a bolder appearance thanks to a piano black grille, redesigned sculpted bonnet, and reworked front and rear bumpers. Advanced LED projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lamps and new LED tail lamps bring a more contemporary look to the vehicle.
The SUV-inspired design language has been amplified with a more assertive front fascia and silver-finish skid plates, whilst the generous 182mm ground clearance ensures confident progress over rough surfaces. Roof rails capable of carrying up to 50kg add practical versatility.
The cabin transformation is equally impressive, featuring an ergonomic dual-tone dashboard that incorporates an 8-inch floating touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The steering wheel places all essential controls within easy reach, whilst fresh seat upholstery, a modern 7-inch TFT LED instrument cluster, LED cabin lighting and blacked-out door handles elevate the premium feel throughout.

Safety equipment has been substantially enhanced, with six airbags and a tyre pressure monitoring system now standard across the entire range, complemented by electronic brake-force distribution. Follow-me-home headlamps provide 90 seconds of illumination after arrival, whilst a front parking sensor aids manoeuvring in tight spaces.
Power comes from a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 52kW and 96Nm of torque, paired with either a five-speed manual gearbox or an optional five-speed AMT on the range-topping variant.
Pricing starts at R218 999 for the Triber Evolution MT, rising to R233,999 for the Techno MT, R249 999 for the Iconic MT, and R259 999 for the Iconic AMT. A commercial-focused Triber Express (without roof rack) is also available at R249 999.
