MG has unveiled its latest evolution of the ZS line-up with the arrival of the all-new ZS Pro, officially debuting at this year’s Festival of Motoring and now available through the brand’s national dealer network.
The ZS Pro reflects MG’s ongoing drive to blend style, performance, and practicality in an affordable package, the manufacturer claims. It has grown in size compared to the regular ZS, gaining 45mm in length, 30mm in width, and a 20mm longer wheelbase, which not only gives it a stronger stance on the road but also enhances interior comfort and luggage space.
Visually, the SUV stands out with a bold wide-frame grille, sculpted bodywork, and distinctive “Predator Eye” LED headlights. The design is complemented by geometric tail lamps, a roof spoiler, and sleek silver roof rails. The Luxury model features 18-inch turbine-style alloy wheels, while the Comfort trim gets 17-inch Italian-inspired ‘tele-dial’ alloys.

Inside, MG has placed emphasis on premium feel and practicality. There is a soft-touch dashboard, contrast stitching, and perforated leather-like seats. The dual 12.3-inch digital display setup (10.25-inch on Comfort) integrates a virtual instrument cluster with a full infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
MG also highlights the inclusion of thoughtful touches such as multiple storage compartments, boot hooks, umbrella slots, and up to 1 457 litres of cargo space.
Power comes from a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine delivering 125kW and 275Nm, paired with a continuously variable transmission. MG’s UK engineering team has tuned the chassis to offer a ride that balances comfort with control to meet European driving expectations.
The MG ZS Pro starts at R397 600 for the 1.5T Comfort and R431 500 for the 1.5T Luxury, both backed by a seven-year or 200 000km warranty and a five-year or 60 000km service plan.
