GWM South Africa has expanded its offering with the introduction of the P300 SX range, strengthening the brand—s presence in the commercial vehicle market. The SX replaces the outgoing P-Series SX models and completes the P300 portfolio, giving buyers a full line-up that caters to both lifestyle and work-focused needs.
The facelifted SX is available in single and double cab formats, designed to appeal to both private owners and fleet operators. Positioned as a value-packed workhorse, the SX delivers durability and efficiency while still offering a level of comfort and technology that supports everyday use.
Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine producing 120kW and 400Nm of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. The model also offers a towing capacity of 2 250kg, underlining its practical credentials.

On the outside, the SX is fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels, along with front and rear fog lights. Inside, features include manual air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity and a focus on safety with traction control, dual front and side airbags, and rear parking sensors.
As with the rest of the P300 line-up, the SX is backed by GWM—s comprehensive ownership package. This includes a seven-year or 200 000km transferable warranty, seven-year roadside assistance, a seven-year or 75 000km service plan, and service intervals of 12 months or 15 000km.
Pricing for the new SX starts at R414 950 for the single cab 4x2 manual and rises to R537 950 for the double cab 4x4 automatic. With the SX joining the LS and LT, South African buyers now have a complete choice of models that cover both comfort-oriented and workhorse requirements.
