Glasurit Partnership Strengthens Audi Revolut’s Charge Toward 2026 F1 Debut

Audi Revolut F1 Team reveals its R26 livery and confirms Glasurit as exclusive paint supplier ahead of its Formula One debut in 2026.

Audi Revolut F1 Team has marked a pivotal moment in its progression to the FIA Formula One World Championship by revealing its renewed identity and partner line-up during a launch event in Berlin.

At the centre of the announcement is Glasurit, the renowned BASF Coatings refinish brand, which has been appointed as the team’s exclusive paint supplier for its inaugural season in 2026.

For this debut, Glasurit has produced the specialised Audi R26 coating using its advanced 100 Line system. The range is recognised for its high eco-efficiency standards, and its streamlined process can reduce application times by up to forty per cent. Roar Solberg, Vice President Automotive Refinish EMEA at BASF Coatings, highlights that combining precise colour accuracy with highly efficient application technologies directly supports performance demands within Formula One.

The visual language of the R26 reflects Audi’s established design approach, emphasising technical clarity, intelligence and emotional impact. Working closely with the team’s designers and engineers, Glasurit experts applied the ultra-lightweight, low-VOC 100 Line waterborne basecoat to achieve a finish that meets both aesthetic and performance ambitions.

The R26 livery presents a distinctive Titanium Grey, set alongside exposed carbon fibre areas and an exclusive Audi Lava Red, each shade formulated uniquely by Glasurit to ensure enduring colour stability. Protecting these surfaces is Glasurit’s Ara Class Eco Balance Ccycled clearcoat A C 24. This coating incorporates raw materials sourced from end-of-life tyres in place of fossil-based ingredients, supporting a circular economy while reducing CO₂ emissions by as much as forty per cent per kilogram of product.

Stefano Battiston, Chief Commercial Officer of Audi Revolut F1 Team, states that the collaboration with Glasurit reflects the team’s dedication to precision engineering, sustainable progress and design excellence. He notes that the new livery stands as a confident expression of the team’s identity and that working with a brand committed to innovation and eco-efficient performance enhances both the competitive and commercial foundations ahead of the 2026 debut.
