Ford South Africa is preparing to expand its Everest line-up with the introduction of the Everest Tremor in late 2026, a rugged SUV designed to deliver enhanced off-road capability while retaining the refinement expected from the Everest range.
Building on the success of the Ranger Tremor, this new variant is tailored for adventurous customers who want durability and comfort in equal measure.
The Everest Tremor stands apart with hardware upgrades including Bilstein® Position-Sensitive Dampers, new springs and General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tyres. These enhancements provide an additional 26mm of ground clearance compared to standard Everest models, while the exclusive Rock Crawl Drive Mode ensures traction on loose and rocky terrain.

Under the bonnet, the Tremor is powered solely by Ford’s 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel engine, producing 184kW and 600Nm. With a maximum braked towing capacity of 3 500kg, it offers versatility for hauling and strong performance both on and off the road.
Inside, the Tremor features leather-accented seats embossed with the Tremor name, ebony-coloured trim and all-weather floor mats, combining practicality with premium comfort. The cabin is designed for durability in harsher conditions while retaining Ford’s SYNC 4 infotainment system and advanced safety technologies.
Externally, the SUV is distinguished by a honeycomb grille, auxiliary LED lamps, a steel bash plate, heavy-duty side steps and exclusive Tremor badging. It will also be available in Command Grey, a colour unique to this variant.
Pricing and warranty details are yet to be confirmed, but Ford South Africa has indicated they will be announced closer to the Q4 2026 launch.
