Hyundai South Africa has unveiled its latest retail innovation, the Hyundai Kenilworth hub in Cape Town, marking a significant shift in how the brand engages with customers. Situated inside Access Park Mall, the concept is designed to bring vehicle shopping into everyday spaces, allowing people to explore models as part of their normal routine.

The brand has enjoyed remarkable success in South Africa, consistently ranking among the top sellers in the new vehicle market. Part of this success is attributed to Hyundai’s readiness to embrace new ideas, and the Kenilworth hub is the latest example of that strategy.

“For many South Africans, a journey to purchasing or exploring a new vehicle has long been hindered by practical challenges such as travel times. With this concept, we want to offer convenience when it comes to shopping for a Hyundai vehicle,” said Stanley Anderson, CEO of Hyundai Automotive South Africa. “Exploring a new vehicle should feel natural, enjoyable and not disrupt a customer’s lifestyle and things they enjoying doing.”

The hub offers customers digital tools, immediate access to trained sales staff, model comparisons and onsite test driving of various Hyundai vehicles. Existing Hyundai drivers can also book services at a nearby facility.

Mark Torrance, regional manager for the Western Cape, says the hub aims to modernise the customer journey. “The Hyundai Kenilworth is more than a retail space. It is a dynamic, open-door environment designed to simplify every stage of car shopping to ownership.”

Hyundai plans further expansion, with additional hubs scheduled to roll out from next year.
