Jetour South Africa is preparing for the local launch of its T1 and T2 all-wheel drive SUVs, marking the next stage of its growth in the country.
Since its entry into the South African market in September 2024, Jetour has quickly climbed into the top 15 automotive brands. Its five-seater Dashing and seven-seater X70 Plus have exceeded expectations against established competitors. Strong dealer satisfaction and service have also driven success, with Jetour recently achieving Gold Status in the 2025 National Automobile Dealers— Association Dealer Satisfaction Index survey.
The brand also introduced the Jetour Owners Club this month, giving members exclusive discounts, access to events and special deals on accessories, merchandise and experiences.
The new T-series is designed with a more rugged, boxy look. The T1 and T2 share the same platform, engine and drivetrain, but the T2 is slightly larger. Both are available with all-wheel drive, with the T2 better suited for light off-road trips while the T1 is tailored for city use. Each model features high-quality finishes and the latest in-vehicle technology.
Globally, the T1 has been recognised as a versatile urban SUV, blending comfort with off-road capability. The T2 has become popular for its adventurous styling and adaptability for family travel and off-road experiences.
Already available in markets including China, Indonesia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Angola, South Africa will be the first right-hand drive market to introduce the new T-series.
